The Parts We Hide: A Workbook for Self-Acceptance & Inner Healing is only a day away!
When people ask me, “Are you writing any books lately?” my answer is always the same:
“I have about three or four on the go.”
And it’s true. At any given time, you’ll find little notebooks scattered around my house or post-it notes in my vehicle, quick jots and free-flowing ideas sparked by a moment, a conversation, or something that got my brain buzzing. I’ve been known to pull over on the side of the road to write an idea on the back a gas receipt.
One of those ideas, a small self-help workbook, has been quietly sitting at the edge of my desk for over a year. I’ve added to it slowly, in between talks with friends, insights from clients, and everyday conversations when someone shares a story and I think, “That belongs in here.”
I didn’t want to write a self-help book that just scratches the surface.
So little by little, it became something more and The Parts We Hide started to resonate deeply with me and I think it will for you too.
Over the past two weeks, I really kicked it into high gear and got it across the finish line. As most authors know, you can edit endlessly and never really feel “done.” At some point, you just have to decide to press publish and let it go.
Why now?
Because there’s so much emotional weight people carry—weight that might look invisible or unnecessary from the outside, but only because the person holding it hasn’t yet been shown how strong, worthy, and deeply human they already are.
What if the parts of yourself you’ve been hiding… were actually the doorway to your healing?
Today, I’m both excited and (let’s be honest) a little nervous to share that I’m officially pre-launching my newest project. This is where it starts sounding a little sales-y.
The Parts We Hide: A Workbook for Self-Acceptance and Inner Healing
This is for anyone without access to therapy, for those on a waitlist, or even for those already in counselling who want to deepen the work between sessions and maybe even save a little money along the way.
When you’ve already begun exploring your patterns, naming your wounds, and learning how to regulate your emotions, you show up more empowered.
No more spending on sessions trying to figure out where to begin. With The Parts We Hide, you’ll already be in the work so your healing can go further, faster (hopefully saving you a bit of money).
But this workbook isn’t just for the deeply struggling.
It’s for those who sense there’s more to their story than what meets the eye.
Those who ask:
Why do I still feel this way? Why can’t I move on? Why am I stuck?
It’s for the high-functioners quietly carrying emotional weight.
For those who are “doing okay,” but feeling disconnected, depleted, or worn down from holding it all together.
If you have been holding it all together for everyone else but quietly carrying your own emotional weight—this is for you.
It’s for anyone ready to pull back the curtain and look honestly at what’s going on inside.
Because behind those internal walls?
There’s wisdom.
There’s strength.
There’s intuition you may not have fully tapped into yet.
With a little courage and a lot of self-compassion, you can begin to reclaim it.
The Parts We Hide won’t “fix” you because you’re not broken. But it will help you understand yourself more fully, more honestly, and with more grace.
Inside, you’ll find reflection prompts, grounding exercises, and powerful questions designed to help you go inward and come out the other side more connected to who you really are.
Starting July 9th, I’m offering a sneak peek version for just $4.99—a soft starting point for those ready to begin. It will take a while until it is available in print. It’ll be available exclusively as an eBook through my website for the two weeks. Fill out the contact box to be the first to see it. I’m just waiting for the final touches on the book cover.
If you’ve felt the nudge to stop hiding the parts of yourself you’ve long silenced or minimized maybe this is your moment.
You’re not broken.
You’re becoming.
And I hope this workbook helps you begin that journey with honesty, heart, and your pen in hand.
Let’s rewrite your story.
with love,
Treena
